Prologue | Prologue: The Shape of Peace

Note: This is a translation of the current prologue that's available in-game, but an initial version of the prologue that's longer than the prologue you're about to read exists. For the sake of continuity and not having two different versions of the same part on this Dreamwidth, we decided to post the current prologue here, and to have a separate doc containing a translation of the prologue's initial version here.
On another note, we decided to stick with the protag's default name from the offline version (Setsu), and their choices will be in italics and preceded with >. Alternative choices will be shown in red in our translations.
